A US Army veteran and graduate of Wayland Baptist University, Doug inspires everyone he meets with his natural leadership ability. He is dedicated to serving his community and the planet, with a passion for helping homeowners achieve energy independence and reduce their carbon footprint.

An avid fitness enthusiast and natural competitor, Doug prides himself on exceeding his clients' expectations and leading the Alternative Solar team to excellence. A native of Buffalo, New York, Doug has travelled the country and the globe in his 12-year military career. He now calls San Antonio home.

Eric Allen

A native Texan born and raised in San Antonio, Eric focused much of his young life on football. That dedication and determination paid off, leading him to a professional career in Arena Football. Knowing his athletic career wouldn't last forever, Eric then turned his attention to his other passion: engineering.

Graduating from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in Engineering Science, residential and commerical solar energy became the clear path forward for Eric. Pairing his engineering and scientific knowledge, natural problem-solving skills, and team-player mentality, Eric prides himself in his attention to detail which his brings to every new Alternative Solar client.

Josh Pappas

Born and raised in Southern California, Josh spent his early years pursuing a career in baseball. After 9/11, Josh felt called to service and joined the Marine Corps. His 9-year career in the military gave him the building blocks necessary to thrive in a team environment, as well as honing his leadership skills.

With his service, dedication, and passion for helping others, Josh focused his post-military career to alternative energy and the environment. Joining forces with Alternative Solar, Josh enjoys how his role makes a positive impact on our planet and helps people move toward a better tomorrow. He lives in San Antonio.
